Well here we are again – the start of a new glamorous year! You know, the time when we’re all usually bursting with sheer promises and aggressive determination and motivation to avoid repeating all those mistakes of the past. As for me, I know I’ve personally learned a lot in the last 12 months (especially my bad hair habits, which of course I’ve vowed to ditch in 2015), and I’ve also have spent some time recollecting about my goals and what my priorities will be for my family, my blog, and my business performance this year. For me, these aren’t actually resolutions, rather consistent actions I should be…excuse me, WILL be doing anyways.
I’m extremely grateful for all the amazing opportunities, experiences, projects, new friendships, travels and adventures, personal and professional growth, and lastly but definitely not least, my beautiful family. This past year was one of accepting challenges and apprizing blessings – it was a year in which I learned a lot about myself. It’s been an extraordinary journey this year and although it’s always bittersweet to end this chapter, I’m super excited to begin a new one here at Glamour Curls on the Go!
As most of you already know, I created this site for women to connect, encourage and inspire one another with an emphasis on the beauty, originality and spirit of naturally kinky, curly hair as well as skin care health and wellness. My purpose continues to be to deliberately define what beauty is and to condition women not only to embrace their natural state of being, but to value their individual uniqueness and overall worth. Well, here’s A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all my glamorous readers for supporting me, finding time out of your day to check in on my blog, for all the love and positive feedback you leave me, and finally for just believing in your natural curls!
So have you taken some time to get your priorities in order? Ready to embrace your natural curls? Ready to start your own Blog? Ready to be your own boss? Whatever your resolution(s) in 2015, remember happiness is dependent on one’s circumstances, but joy rises above life’s circumstances.
Happy New Year! Here’s to all your forthcoming successes!
Sincerely Glamour Curls! aka Paris
